Looks great and so far so good

Looks great and so far so good with unit operation. If you have standard unit and not dual air control just make sure to attach both harnesses to each input of unit for proper operation of unit ventilation settings and place sensor behind unit somewhere it won’t bang around. I applied electrical tape around the base of sensor to dampen and help keep in one place and tied off excess wire. I didn’t bother to place in any airway since it works fine behind the unit and has good space to receive ambient air. Would be nice if it came with instructions but had to figure it out pretty much although tech support did answer promptly next day. I also broke off three clips from frame from removal a couple times but luckily the two end clips right and left are enough to keep frame on firmly until I get a replacement. Anyway, I dig it. ‘Twas a good upgrade and looks awesome!

this worked perfect on my 2014 VW Jetta. i had to modify the face place a tiny bit but it looks great and all features work amazing. i wish there was an option to change the themes on the unit.

Procedure
1Set selector to P, engine off, car level. Connect the diagnostic tool and read DSG fluid temperature. It must be 35 C or lower before you open anything; if hotter, let it cool.
2Remove the engine top cover. Disconnect the MAF sensor connector and breather hose, loosen the clamp and remove the air duct, undo the air filter box screws and lift the box out to expose the filter housing near the brake master cylinder side of the transmission.
3Place a drain pan under the transmission. Unscrew the filter housing cover, tilt the filter so it drains back into the pan, and remove it with the old sealing ring.
4Lubricate the new sealing ring with fresh DSG fluid. Fit the new filter in the receiving sleeve (wet the ring first) and tighten the cover to 20 Nm. Refit the air filter box, duct, MAF connector and breather hose.
5Raise the car level on supports and remove the underbody protective plate over the transmission if fitted.
6Unscrew the check/level plug beside the rocker support (the transmission's plug at the flange end). Behind it sits a plastic overflow tube.
7Remove the overflow tube with the 8 mm hex key. About 4-5 L drains out. Let it drain fully; measure what came out.
8Refit the overflow tube and tighten to 3 Nm.
9Shake the new fluid bottle. Screw the VAS 6262/2 adapter into the level-check hole by hand and connect the VAS 6262 filling device and bottle. Do not reuse drained fluid.
10Fill 5.5 L of new fluid through the adapter. Close the shut-off valve or hold the bottle above the gearbox when swapping containers.
11Read fluid temperature. Start the engine, hold the brake, and shift through every selector position, holding each about 3 seconds, then return to P. Leave the engine running.
12Watch temperature on the scan tool. When fluid is between 35 and 45 C, disconnect the quick-release coupling at the adapter and let the excess drain out.
13Level is correct once the flow slows to a small drip about every 30 seconds at the hole. Do not top up or compensate for that drip.
14Remove the adapter, fit a new seal to the check plug and tighten to 45 Nm. Stop the engine.
15Refit the underbody cover. Road test and recheck for leaks at the filter cover and check plug.
